Simple Potted Plants

I am a big fan of potted plants seen at the grocery store while we are picking up things for the weekend at WestWard. On Vashon, the Thriftway always has tons of potted flowers and plants. Most times incredibly well priced. In a pinch, they can take the place of cut flowers. We have a good collection of big serving bowls there. Easy peasy, they get plunked right into a serving bowl which serves as a cachepot. Above, a mini basil plant that I had never seen before. It has a topiary quality to it, making me so happy to gaze upon it while we enjoyed our meals outside on these sublimely sunny days.
