Dahlia Season Has Begun

Dahlia season has begun in a big way. So many of the flower stalls at the Market were absolutely overflowing with bucket after bucket of the lovely blooms. I love how each stem can have multiple flowers on it. Here a three bloom stem found its way into a vintage bulbous Baccarat single stem vessel in the living room. My eye would catch it all week as I walked by. These sweet, happy flowers can brings such hits of happiness. Speaking of, happy August 1st! Ted
