The Last Days Of Summmaaaaaaa

We arrived late last night for our month long stay at Hawthorne. It was quite dark so I could see the outline of the hydrangea but it was not until this morning that we got to see them in their full tall glory. So tall that you can barely see anything but the blooms out the front windows. We love it! Grabbing the last official days of Summmaaaaa. Most of the windows are open and the Hudson Valley air this time of year divine. The hum of insects and bird song our music for the day. A time to recharge the batteries after a super busy June/July/August in Seattle and get ready for the non-stop Holiday season when we return. Can’t wait to start playing with all the hydrangea cuttings in the coming days!
