White Mums + Hawthorne = Autumn

Flower Friday about big pots of white mums on the back porch picnic table. If you drive around the country roads this time of year you see mums everywhere. They have become such a part of the change of season to us. Plus they really could not be easier to enjoy. Just plunk the plants into a cool container and you are off and running. It has been pouring down rain these last few days so have not been able to snap our current pots. This image from a past stay and I love how the hay bales up in our fields made it into the shot. We love the big bales so much! The Hawthorne Valley Farm so graciously comes and clears our fields for us in exchange for the hay for the farm animals.
