Lilies & Mustard Greens

Flower Friday about a few quick arrangements before guests arrive for the weekend. Grocery store lilies were looking pretty fabulous for 10 bucks a bunch at our beloved Price Chopper in Chatham when I ran in to pick up a few things from our shopping list. They worked perfectly in a vintage green glass urn picked up at a past sale at Christopher Spitzmiller’s. The Hawthorne Valley Farm store often has a veg or greens that catch my eye that we can use in place of flowers. This time it was a bundle of mustard green that almost made me weep they were so beautiful. Absolute simplicity at its finest. They graced the front table in a vintage green faux bois vessel that was a gift from CoCo many years back. Everyone have a lovely first weekend in October! X, T
