Cookbooks As Gifts

As the gift giving season nears, we have been stocking up on old and new cookbook titles near & dear to my heart. Be it a NYC institution where a bagel and lox hold a special place in my heart, or decades long teacher like Jacques Pepin creates another title that is a must have. I always try and carry titles that we have some connection to, in some way. Cookbooks can be so personal. They really do make such fabulous gifts. Some of our favorite gifts over the years have been cookbooks that we have ended up using so much that they are practically falling apart. A sure sign of a well loved gift.
