A Much Loved Flowery Tradition

Oh how I love a flowery tradition on Flower Friday! This will be the 10th year friend and artist Jeanne McKay Hartmann will be joining us painting her beautiful works at our kick-off to the Holiday Season Open House on Saturday November 15th, from 1 to 3. Oh what a treat to see her create the pieces in person. Plus this year, there are three options to choose from! Imari Roses, Green Wellies and Holly & Ivy. 

From the artist: “Wondering about the inspiration for the 2025 watercolors? Our travels in Ireland, and to Ashford Castle specifically, sparked this year’s creations: The enormous bouquet of roses in an antique Imari vase that greeted us when we arrived, the crowd of green Wellies standing ready by the hotel entry, a piece of Guinness family silver in the castle’s collection, and the holly and ivy that flourished in the surrounding woodlands.”
