Architectural Beauty

Work on replacing the roof of the nearly 100 year old beauty that is The Gainsborough is almost complete. A more than 6 month project that involved scaffolding around the entire building, as well as a temporary outdoor elevator to bring up materials needed to be installed. The painstakingly exacting process has been quite something to watch. We are so fortunate to call this place home when we are in the city. We bought our apartment here 35+ years ago. A place that holds such a special place in our hearts filled with amazing memories, where we have spent many lovely times up on the rooftop garden. We are excited for the next chapter of times on the rooftop with friends & family looking out to the city and mountains and water and beauty that is Seattle. Cheers to 35 more!
