Snow Capped Lions
January 29, 2026
As we drove away from Hawthorne yesterday to head to the airport to fly to Seattle, I snapped this snowy image. The two lions that stand at the ready watching over things for us while we are away, each had the sweetest little cap of snow. The sight tickled me to no end. When we woke up there yesterday morning in the Hudson Valley, it was -9 degrees. When the Uber driver picked us up at SeaTac airport, he apologized for the cold. It was in the high 40’s. We said, we are good! We feel so incredibly fortunate to live in such different places. Both feed our souls in very similar as well as very different ways.
