About Today

Today we will open and continue to do what we do best, be a space for our community where love, inclusion, manners, and civility for all, matters. 

As a small family owned business our personal values and morals align with everything we do. Where empathy is a source of strength, not a weakness—along with love, it is a defining quality of who we are as humans.

The daily chaos and injustices we see with our own eyes cannot be denied. We stand in solidarity with Minneapolis and all communities around our country threatened. We stand with those advocating for human dignity and safety. We stand against all actions that dehumanize or harm others. 

We will be donating to organizations in Seattle, Vashon Island and the Hudson Valley, that further the works of helping immigrants and refugees. Our communities are a huge source of strength for us. I so often go back to lessons I was taught growing up. I can hear my father say, “We are all the same in God’s eyes.”
