Objects As Memories

I am sitting at our desk in the apartment working away on my next book and I am surrounded by memories. Objects can hold so many memories. It is why I feel so strongly we should all surround ourselves with them in our homes. I am referring to good memories here. If an object brings up negativity, do away with it. On this little corner of the desk, my mind of flooded with good thoughts. A photo of us in Rome for Mister Sive’s 30th birthday. A watercolor of our sweet & feisty Bailey by our friend Jeanne. A crystal tennis ball that was part of a trophy when I won a tournament. An ‘I Love You’ painting I gave to TPS years back. A harmonica and a chunky Montblanc pen that belonged to my father in law David. Just even glancing over all of them floods me with sweet thoughts. {Happiness, Love & Joy Day 9}
