All In The Details

Working away on my next book, about the design of our homes and tips to take away to create stylish spaces by the reader. While going through images this morning, ran across this one. Our bathroom redo at the guest house in New York. We found the recycled glass tile that both of us were crazy about. The bits of gray throughout handsome and it felt so good underfoot. Then we spotted the marble threshold. They went together but did not entirely match. Perfect! Small details that don’t always get noticed by everyone, but they are there. My eye catches them every time I enter the room, and tickles me to no end. Cheers to the details!
