Weeknight Supper

Our friend Patrick from Hudson was visiting his cousin in Seattle this week so we had them over for supper last eve. We always love hosting friends at our home when they are here from out of town. A home cooked meal and breaking bread together can be such a welcome gift when folks are traveling and meals are mostly in restaurants. The Market is brimming with tulips so they danced down the middle of the table. Salmon was on the menu. Always such a treat to have guests over in the middle of the week. There is something very casual, in the very best way, about it as it breaks up the busy-ness of the work week.
