Vintage Pottery at WK

Just In, a handsome new collection of vintage Desert Sands pottery at Watson Kennedy. We recently found a piece for Hawthorne, and like so many things, that starts my mind racing and studying up on things and the hunt begins. Was a family business of small artisan handmade pieces from the 50’s to 70’s. The trademark swirl and earthy hues are what instantly drew me to their beauty. I also quite like the utilitarian-ness of it, as all the shapes can be used—to hold a flower, or a bowl of nuts, or used to hold spare change on a dresser.
