A Day in Pictures

I snapped away more than usual yesterday at the show, capturing some of my new favorite things. And yes, it is now confirmed–I am really into all the earth tones moving into Autumn and Holiday. I received a lovely text yesterday from my friend Catherine, saying she thought the colors and tones were very sophisticated. Catherine, I could not agree more! Take a look…

It really was such a fun day of buying. I was then whisked away in a waiting car and headed over to a little soirée at my favorite stationer, Dempsey & Carroll on Lexington Avenue. Matchbook had recently featured Dempsey & Carroll, as well as their cool calling cards, so they hosted a little party in their honor. It was a great way to end a very full day. Day 4 begins in just a bit. More tomorrow.

  1. So great to meet you at the party Ted! Hopefully will see you in Seattle soon.

  2. OMG, where did the penmanship cards come from? Please tell me you will be sending some to WK! They are wonderful, just like I remember them. I have looked in countless tag sales and what not and found zilch. Nada. What treasures, indeed, Mr. W!

  3. So great to meet you too! See you in SEA, Ted

  4. Hi Mary. They are pretty darn fab, and yes, we have tons coming to WK. Let me know what letters interest you, and I will set them aside. Ted

  5. What a wonderful day! It’s been such fun discovering your blog and your store (hope to visit this fall) and I love seeing interesting people I admire intersect–I’ve been reading the Matchbook girls since they were “just” bloggers :)

  6. Hi Susan. Happy you are enjoying the blog! It was such a nice event, Ted
