An Ode to Apples

20111017-075013.jpg Our days of dining outside here in the Puget Sound are numbered, as the cool air makes bundling up a necessity. But if it is not raining, we still grab every chance we can. A Sunday supper with the table all clad in apples was my idea. Only challenge, I left the bag of apples sitting at the shop in the rush to get to the ferry. Shells would have to do, but I still stuck with the apple plates and the flour sack dish towels I like to use as napkins that have a variety of apples throughout the design.
