Gourds and Greens

Our visit to Taft Farms last week produced 2 of the coolest gourds I have ever seen. TPS spotted the first one right off the bat. Saying how much it looked like a pear. We grabbed it and then started looking for a mate. The pair of pears gracing our Sunday supper table. Then it became a smattering of varying green & brown things added to the table to pull the colors out of the gourds. Followed by a toast to the leafy season!
