Watson Kennedy Windows

The displays in our two large windows at the First & Spring shop are a huge source of joy & pride for us. They allow us to let our creativity soar. So making the decision to board them up was gut wrenching to say the least. But it was absolutely the right thing to do. We spent many restless nights these past few weeks worry about getting a call in the middle of the night from the alarm company that someone had shattered them or broken in. So for now, our lovely windows are taking a Spring nap. Resting up to dazzle the heck out of you when this all passes and is but a faded dream. For they will return, better than ever. Our friend Jeanne painted an old favorite that she posted yesterday on her Instagram account. Above and below a jaunty orange. Sort of a Veuve-y Hermès-y hue. I will be posting past windows this next month as a way of remembering the happiness they bring to me, and I hope to you too.
