French Feasts

My new favorite cook book that I am taking to the beach with me this week is, French Feasts. Compiled by Frenchman, Stephane Reynaud, this book contains 299 traditional recipes for family meals & gatherings.

This is way more than just a cookbook. The photography is spectacular, with many photos giving you a glimpse inside of home kitchens and restaurants, as well as close-ups of beautifully presented food.

There are also whimsical line drawings of recipes and food groupings.

But mostly it is like I just stepped off an Air France flight and into culinary heaven.
