Garden Candy

I heard the term ‘garden candy’ for the first time this week. Fitting on this first day of August when gardens are producing their bountiful best, this small plate of tomatoes makes me think of just that. Garden candy. Cut in half with a few pinches of salt and a healthy snack is at the ready. Add a piece of cheese and a baguette, and a Summery lunch it shall be.
