Hot, Happy Hawthorne Hydrangea 

When we pulled up to the house when we first arrived, the hydrangea were looking hot and in serious need of a big drink.  It had been quite some time since a big rain had hit.  The buds were still super tight.  Last year at the exact same time they were in full bloom.  A few days of heavy rain since we have been here + a few good waterings along with many more sunny days has them perked up and looking pretty swell.  Each day they open more and more, as if right on cue for Flower Friday.
