We Begin Again

November 14, 2016

So often I think of how my father would react to current day situations. Having fought in the war as a Marine, raised a family, owned his own business–he was tough but with a heart of gold. I have written about this before, but he did not care for comparison of any sort. He felt each person was an individual and that their actions should merit your response to them. That actions speak volumes louder than words. These last few days of being away from writing, either on the blog or other social media outlets, has been quite needed for it gave me time to think. To reflect. To post something pretty just seemed false as that was not where my head or my heart were. Please know this is not meant to be about him, or her, or about one party or the other. This is about Equality, Civility, and Respect. For ALL. For a nation to be a true success, these must be paramount. Hate has no place in our country. Our world. Our leadership, both present and future–must make sure that respect prevails over hate, and that all people are treated equally. For their actions will merit our response to them.

I wish you all the very best start to your week. It is good to be back. I have missed you.  X, T
