Lilac Love

This Flower Friday brings Hawthorne lilacs that have just started to bloom. When we first got here it was rainy and cold and the blooms looked nowhere ready to bloom. Ah, nature. You can’t rush these things. Then the sun and hot weather presented themselves this second week doing their magic on all the flowers. Viola! Could not be happier these came for a dance before we depart later today. I still am getting used to the idea of just going out to snip away, coming back with a bundle.
