Geraniums In Cachepots

May 15, 2020

Flower Friday is all about cachepot love. First off, a definition: A cachepot is a French term for what is usually called in modern English a “planter” or for older examples a jardiniere, namely a decorative container or “overpot” for a plant and its flowerpot, for indoors use, usually with no drainage hole at the bottom.

I love them because they can turn simple plastic contained plants you pick up for a song, sing! The other day on my grocery shop I picked up four white geraniums for 3 bucks a piece. Got home, slipped them into a cachepot and it was flower happiness right out of the gate.
