Ted’s Tip No. 419

Cleaning the wax out votive candles can be a chore. Make it easy by putting the almost spent holder with a bit of the remaining wax in it, in the freezer. Leave in overnight. The next morning take them out of the freezer, turn upside down and tap on the counter. The remaining wax will slip right out. From there I put the votive holders right into the dishwasher. Once the load is washed, they come out sparkling clean. Just like new! Ready for a fresh votive candle and more flickering magic.
