{My Favorite Thing Today} This Hugo Guinness piece hangs by the office door at the First & Spring shop. We found the vintage frame for it on a Brimfield shopping trip. I admire it often, thinking of all the family & friends of rowers we know. At #WatsonKennedy

Can’t get enough lilac love. These from the back meadow are quite a bit lighter in tone than the flowers out in the front of the house. Plus this variety is lasting much longer. I like a simple low mass of the flowers so guests can easily see over them, taking off most of the leaves so the blooms shine. Here a little green metal bucket worked out great and added another variation of the hue to the mix. At #HawthorneGhent

Second {Flower Friday} lilac post of the day. Just can’t help myself. TPS clipped these super long stems for me to play with. Soooooo fun to use them out on the back porch. At #HawthorneGhent

Wow, wow, wow, we hit prime lilac time right on the nose. The bushes that dot the property looking better than ever and producing lusciously fragrant blooms with vibrant leaves. The blooms themselves just the prettiest hue. All the above have varied quite a bit from year to year. Last year they were not stellar. So we are enjoying them in both big and small arrangements from room to room. Happy {Flower Friday} all! Have a lovely weekend. Sending lots of love & lilac vibes from the Hudson Valley. X, T2+H
