Ted’s Tip No. 21
December 1, 2014 Leftover pieces of baguette make for wonderful oversized croutons for the top of soups or just for snacking. Cut into inch pieces, lay them on a baking sheet or dish, sprinkle with extra virgin olive oil and a good amount of fresh ground pepper. Put into a 350 degree oven until browned. If you are feeling especially feisty, add a sprinkling of fresh Parmesan cheese right as they come out of the oven.
