Remembering

Memories can be such a beautiful thing. I found this image this morning when I was looking for something else. An image snapped not terribly long after we bought Hawthorne, now almost 10 years ago. Bailey so comfortably snuggled on my lap looking right into the camera like a seasoned pro. The photo instantly took me back to that day and her scurrying around while the Design Sponge photo shoot took place. Oh how we miss that extraordinary being in our lives each day. But we are clinging to so many unbelievable memories we have of her. Her puppy-like spirit that in ways stayed with her always. They stay with us now. Memories can be such a beautiful thing…
