Dining At Your Favorites

December 18, 2019

This Wine & Dine Wednesday is not about a particular recipe or favorite spot to dine. Although had to share one of my all-time favorite meals at a Seattle institution, Cafe Campagne. See above. Oh my word, that meal makes me gleeful. This post stems from a bunch of conversations I have had with customers this season in one of my ‘wrap’ sessions. Often they are from out of town visiting, asking where they should dine. Our city has become over the years quite a food town. Which we love! There are always new restaurants opening that we can’t wait to try. I sometimes get dizzy from all the options when we are choosing a place. But what I have been talking to folks about is, don’t forget the classics. It is so easy to get caught up in trying all the new, you forget to keep your favorites at the top of your list. Places where you know you will always have a stellar meal and an amazing dining experience. It is for sure a balancing act, but it breaks my heart to hear or read about these long-loved restaurants that go out of business. So keep the classics in your rotation when deciding on where to eat. You will always be happy you did.
