Flower Friday all about a pink bundle of ruffly tulips I picked up at the Market for our Sunday brunch last week that just got better and better as the week progressed. I arrived to my desk at the shop office to an incredibly thoughtful gift of Poilane bread from Paris by my friend Robin. An out of the blue gesture as she knows I adore it as much as she does. Often gifts not related to a certain occasion can just be such a pick me up. A bright spot on a rainy day. Cheers to thoughtfulness!

There is something incredibly soothing about the process plus it is a delight to happen upon them throughout your day. It is these simple rituals that can add such a richness and depth of meaning to your home.

In stressful times, gravitate towards activities that calm you and bring you to a happy place. For some that might be a hike, for others it might be reading a book to take your mind off of things. For me it is in the kitchen, cooking. Whatever those activities are, go to them often and enjoy those moments.
