Seattle in Spring, Ahhhhhh

The above I snapped of our fine city from the deck of the Inn at the Market minutes before opening up the shop on Saturday morning. It was a tough Winter, so reveling in the Spring gloriousness. The below from the big window behind the wrap stand later that day in between helping customers. Come visit us! Seattle is such a fun place to explore with tons to see & do. XO, T

Happy First Day of Spring!

On this first day of Spring my wish for all of us is sunshine & tulips!

The Market Daffodils Have Arrived

Looking ‘up’ has many advantages. Yesterday on my Saturday morning Market stroll before opening up the shop, it was all about the daffodils. Flower box after flower box of the cheerful yellow blooms. The boxes planted high above many of the storefronts and buildings, creating one very large nod to upcoming Spring. Yesterday was really only the beginning, as those flower boxes with be overflowing in the coming weeks with more & more blooms as even more start to open and do their dance.

All About Color

Spring is most definitely in the air. Seems like each box we have unpacked these last few weeks is just brimming with things filled with color. Happy, happy, color. Pops of color even if you don’t live with much color everyday is just fun. An orange napkin just makes a table setting sing. A bed made up with a bright yellow throw just makes it festive. A big apple green pillow plumped up on a sofa just looks visually inviting. Here is a quick look at a few of the vibrant hues that have arrived just in time for the arrival of Spring.
